1521. Lahm Ajeen Wraps

Made using a few wholesome shortcuts, this delicious lunch was made and served in 15 minutes flat. Ready fresh raw kafta mix and semi-whole wheat roti breads were the shortcuts in this case. Simply spread the kafta mix over the bread and bake it for 10-12 minutes. Prep the rest as it bakes.
The prep consists of chunky chopped lettuce, sliced tomato and onion. Use a stick blender to whip up an instant toum mix, and lunch is served. By the way, it is totally possible and accessible and easy to make your own kafta mix. My grocer makes quality and delicious mixes, so I just buy it ready.

Ingredients:

400g fresh raw kafta mix
8 roti bread
lettuce
tomato
onion
pickles

Method:

Using your fingers, spread the kafta mix over one side of the roti bread and bake in a preheated 400F for 8-10 minutes.
While the wraps are baking, chop the lettuce, slice the tomatoes and onion, and blend the toum sauce.
Allow the rotis to sit a room temperature for 5 minutes to get cool enough to handle and for the meat juices to get reabsorbed. Layer on your vegetables and pickles, drizzle with the toum sauce, wrap and devour.
