1562. Toblerone Marshmallow Mousse


Very easy to make, this toblerone mousse is something of a cross between a pudding and a mousse. Obviously, the swiss nougat chocolate, toblerone is used. I used milk chocolate, but you can also use dark to even out the sweetness some more. The secret ingredients that sets everything is melted marshmallows instead of whipped raw egg.




Ingredients:

150g white marshmallows
50g butter, soft
300g toblerone, chopped
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups cream
1 tsp vanilla



Method:

In a large microwavable bowl, combine the marshmallows, butter. chocolate, and water.
Melt it at 30 second intervals and combine; set aside to cool slightly.
Whip the cream and vanilla to a firm peak. Fold in the chocolate mixture.
Pour it into your serving dish(es) and refrigerate overnight to set.
Serve chilled.
