1698. Kale Chips

Since I always have a tupperware box full of kale for my daily salad, it is invitable that sometimes I'll have a surplus that requires using up asap. This is the perfect recipe us use up lingering kale, and amuse your bouche while at it. 
Consume immediately upon baking as they lose their crisp after a half an hour.





Ingredients:

6 tightly packed cups kale leave
1 Tbsp olive oil
pinch salt
1 lime zest




Method:

Make sure the kale is thoroughly dried (else they steam instead of crisping), tear into 4cm pieces.
Drizzle kale with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, toss then rub handfuls to ensure all leaves thoroughly coated.
Spread on 2 trays in single layer (but can be squished, they shrink). Bake 15 min at 350F until crispy and edges crumble into powder.
Tip into bowl, sprinkle with zest, toss, consume. They lose their crisp after a half an hour.
