The better sauce is the secret ingredients that adds so much flavor to it. Best served warm.
Ingredients:
250g mortadella
12 sliced cheese
1/2 cup sliced olives
For the sauce:
100g melted butter
1 lemon, juice
2 tsp dried mint
1/2 tsp salt
Method:
Make the sauce by mixing all the ingredients together. Halve the buns horizontally and brush with half the sauce on the inside. Layer the sliced mortadella, cheese, and olives in the buns, seal the bun with the top half, and arrange in single layer in a baking dish. Brush the tops with the remaining butter sauce.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350F just to warm through and melt the cheese and serve.
