Using just grated sujuk, cheese, and a touch of dill, the filling is so delicious, and when baked up into a flakey, crispy, puff pastry, the combination is irresistible.
Ingredients:
200g sujuk sausage
200g grated cheese
Sprinkle of fresh dill
1 egg, to brush
Method:
Roll out the thawed but still chilled puff pastry. Spread the grated sujuk, cheese, and chopped dill, then roll it into a rod. Cut to make eight rolls. Lightly flatten the rolls, cut side up, onto the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the exposed pastry with the beaten egg and bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven at 400F until crispy and golden. Serve warm.
