792. Layered Blueberry Lemon Cake
This sunny lemon cake is made extra special with little bursts of blueberry and layered with cream cheese frosting. We have already established how much we at MCW appreciate lemon cake (drizzle, poppy, and pops).

791. Capsicum, Tomato, Haloomi Salad
I was tempted to call this Mediterranean Salad, since it does indeed employ Mediterranean ingredients and style, but this title has already been claimed by another fantastic salad on the blog. Hence the uncreative nomenclature of Capsicum, Tomato, Haloomi Salad.

790. Sujuk Rolls
Sujuk is a spicy meat mixture most commonly shaped into a sort of big sausage and hung to dry. It is very popular in Turkey and Armenia, and is very similar to the Iraqi basturma. This recipe does not require weeks of drying, just an overnight stint in the refrigerator.

789. Panzanella Bread and Tomato Salad
Panzanella is a Tuscan salad created out of the need to use up excess tomato and stake bread. It started off being a rustic peasant food, until the food culture boomed and people have reverted to appreciating the simple matters in life.

788. Creamy Avocado Pasta
Provided you've got a couple of ripe avocados on hand, this could very well become your go-to, near-instant, healthy-but-majorly-satisfying lunch-in-a-pinch.

787. Smoked Mackerel Spread
Inspired by my tuna spread and the idea of British Spring picnicing activities, the smoked mackerel spread is highly complimentary with briney olives, tangy fresh lemon, and luscious cream cheese sandwiches.

786. Crispy Chicken Salad
This salad is loaded with goodness, it really is enough to be a lunch on its own,
Lettuce and cherry tomatoes form the base, then the heavy weights come in: crispy beef or turkey bacon, boiled eggs, crispy-chewey croutons, anchovies, and the star of the show: crispy chicken.

785. Maltese Lemon Ricotta Flourless Cake
Life and circumstances sometimes get in the way of routine and it's been a short while since I last participated in the MENA Cooking Club. Prior contributions have been Algeria, Bahrain, Djiboui, Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan. This time it's Malta's turn.

784. Chilli Cheese Burgers
It all started with the simple burger. All you need for a great burger patty is plain, good quality minced beef, salt, and pepper. No fillers like breadcrumbs or what-have-you. Since then, I have relished home-made burgers. That led to the roquefort burger, and now the chilli-cheese burger. The options are endless, really.

783. Avocado Toast Galore
Avocado toast is unofficially known as an invention of the internet.
While its popularity has spurred countless unimpressive pictures on social media, one cannot deny its deliciousness.

782. Berry Pavlova
Pavlova is the Australian giveaway that they are an extension of the United Kingdom.
By that, I am referring to the British dessert, Eton Mess. Eton mess is basically broken meringue and sliced fruit folded in whipped cream. Pavlova is essentially a giant meringue cookie, topped with whipped cream and sliced fruit. Same roots, different leafs.

781. Honey Mustard Baked Chicken Thighs
This is an easy, fast, and pantry-staple dish loved by all. Barring seasoning, it is made of four ingredients: chicken, honey, mustard, and just a touch of vinegar. I used chicken thighs as they retain their moisture much better than chicken breasts.
