443. Mosaic Jello

What a beautiful and creative way to make a jello or gelatin dessert!

This mosaic jello is also known by other names, such as jello salad, and broken glass jello.
I have incorporated a Middle Eastern twist, by adding some rosewater to the mix.
Different colors and flavors of jello are made and set, before cutting them into cubes and jumbling them in a deep bowl. Then gelatin is dissolved into rose water-scented sweetened milk and poured over the medley of jellos to form one single component.
The drastic effect is seen as soon as you cut into the mold.
You can use whatever flavors or quantities you like.

Ingredients:

2 x 85g cherry jello (red)
2 x 85g lime jello (green)
2 x 85g orange jello (orange)
3 x 10g unflavored gelatin powder
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup sugar
1 litre whole milk
1/4 cup rosewater

Method:

Dealing with each jello flavor separately, dissolve the two 85g of jello in two cups boiling water.
Once dissolved, whisk in another two cups of cold water.
Pour each flavor separately in a deep dish to set for a couple of hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Once set, cut the three flavors into cubes, and arrange all three flavors in a deep large serving bowl; set aside.
Dissolve the unflavored gelatin and the sugar in one cup boiling water.
Whisk in the milk and rosewater.
Pour the milk mixture over the jello cubes and refrigerate until set, a couple of hours or preferably overnight.
