Following up on the inadvertentness of 2019 inaugurated the year of Pie, this blueberry lemon pie was the next natural step. On the berry spectrum, blueberries are not the most tangy of the breed, so the lemon here really plays a melodious role.

This cheesecake recipe, one of plenty galore on MWC, is probably the most factory-imitation one of all, in the sense of taste, texture, and cuts like a dream. To fully industrialize it, use a can of cheesecake topping and call it a day. I however went the from-scratch route, as I often tend to, and opted of a loose compote from fresh strawberries.

Looks like 2019 is quickly becoming the unintentional year of pies. While this lime pie requires the briefest baking stint, it is just as easy to make as a non-bake refrigerator pie. You see, the crust only needs 6-8 minutes baking, and the filling a bare 15 minutes more to set the eggs. Speaking of easy, the entire pie consists of three ingredients for the filling, and two more for the crust.

Pies continue to define 2019 in this floral peach pie. The crust in itself has evolved into an entity of its own, but the peaches, the peaches are converted into a candy-esque filling that will have you do a double check on the ingredient list as the whole pie only has three-quarters of a cup of sugar.

The only way I knew green almonds could be consumed was as a pickle. However, with the internet bringing everyone and their cat closer to each other, I recently discovered that fresh green almonds sprinkled with salt is seemingly a rather popular munch in the Middle Eat and Mediterranean.

I looove my air fryer. Because I love it so much, I think I will routinely publish recipes geared towards it. Who's in?
If I had one complaint about the air fryer is that I need two of them. Case and point, this wonderful, wonderful recipe which takes 10 minutes to put together before delivering it to the trusty air fryer to finish off. I need one for the chicken and one for the vegetables to have them ready for the same meal. Otherwise, what a great investment for succulent, moist, and crispy exterior food.

Minimalists, look away. Not only is this a superfluous air fryer recipe, but a clay pot is required too. The clay pot was just too cute to not get. Not only aesthetically so, but also because it's got this old charm of bygone days when life was simpler and more wholesome. Turns out they are exceedingly healthy to cook in. Unlike teflon ware which leeches hormone-altering chemicals in our food, clay pot enrich our food with minerals that enhance our health.

Rangina is an ancient Arabian Gulf dessert featuring mainly toasted flour, dates, and a hefty quantity of ghee. MCW holds three variations of the dessert: classic, cups, and balls. We now add to the repertoire this rangina cheesecake, which creatively harmonizes the fundamental ingredients into a modernized new take.
