This is a quick and easy whipped cream dessert flavored with coffee. Many people categorize themselves as coffee dessert haters or adorers, and I am definitely up to a coffee flavored dessert.
This dessert is literally as easy as whipping cream. Be sure to chill thoroughly and serve chilled. The famous Italian almond cookies here really bring the flavors together.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup powder sugar
1 1/2 tsp espresso powder
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
8 amaertti biscuits
100g dark chocolate, to serve
Method:
Beat the cream, together with the powdered sugar and the espresso powder until thickened and holds stiff peaks.
Break the amaretti biscuits to rough crumbs and fold it in the cream. Spoon the cream into serving glasses.
Melt the chocolate and spread it on a wax sheet and freeze until solid. Break into shards and decorate the cream glasses.
Serve completely chilled.
