There is also a gigantic aviary you can walk into.
And a massive play ground for little, ones, and young hearted ones too.
The small mosque is conveniently located near the picnic and play area, and it accommodates ladies separately from a side door.
At which time you can take a leisurely small walk back to your modest picnic for a whole lot of banter, children's yelling, crying, and laughing, and plenty of delicious sandwiches, salad, fruit, ice-cold drinks, and to cap, a steaming mug of tea. Don't forget to pack plastic bags for your waste and leave the place as clean as you found it!
As I said in the last post, if you did not pack a picnic, not to worry, the local cafeteria has you covered with hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, chips, and popcorn.
At the end of the day, I dare you to resist going snap-overload at the beautiful lighting from the sun setting at dusk. You might just catch a shooting start or two.
The drive back home in the dark with children's sleeping heads lolling is an especially sweet mixture of fatigue, new memories, satisfaction of spending an entire day outdoors, and a renewed appreciation for Allah's countless blessings.
