Paratha is an Indian interpretation of puff pastry, with the ideal size that comes frozen and ready to go.
Ingredients:
1 pack frozen parathas (5 pieces)
400g sujuk roll
Method:
Cut up the sujuk and blend to bits using the food processor. Set aside.
Working with each paratha individually, cut each circle in half. Roll each half to make longer and a bit wider, then spread 2-3 tablespoons of the sujuk on the long edge. Roll to encompass the filling, forming a snake. Roll the rod into loose cirles, and tuck in the tip under. Please on a lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated 400F oven for about 20 minutes, until puffed, flakey, and golden.
