This is something to make when you don't know what to make. Got puffed pastry and minced meat in the freezer? You're set to go. The wonderful thing here is that you can use any minced meat recipe you may favor: kubba filling, taco-spiced, bolognese... whatever you may have on hand or have an affinity to will work.
Merging borders, this can easily be customized to taste: use chicken, or vegetable filling. How about a cheese mixture? Feta-spinach, or akawi-black seed, or cheddar-jalapeno?
Method:
Preheat oven to 420F.
Lay the square puffed pastry sheets in front of you and place a generous tablespoon of cooked and cooled filling in the center. Seal the pastry at a diagonal, creating triangles. Close the seams well.
Optionally, you can brush the surface with egg wash to crate a glossy bronzed appearance.
Bake for 20 minutes until puffed and golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
