Hardly revolutionary, mixing salty and sweet has been a known concept since I can remember. I am posting simple and easy recipes of late because guess what time it is? Ramadan is just shy of a month away and I have a fantastic compilation of recipes to share during the holy month.
Never underestimate the value of simplicity. This is merely softened butter merged with honey and some salt. Spread over a toasted slice of sourdough bread, and it will be your new favorite breakfast for a week straight.
Ingredients:
100g butter, softened
2 Tbsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
Method:
Mix all ingredients until well-combined, press into a ramekin.
Spread over your toast of choice and enjoy.
