204. Soy Ginger Glazed Salmon

This salmon dish is truly easy and delicious.
An unexpected basting mixture consisting of three ingredients yields the most surprising results.

The fillet can be cooked with or without the skin, but if using the skin, cook it skin-side down to crisp it up.
I would suggest some steamed or roasted vegetables of choice on the side, and not heavily flavored to maximize the delicacy of the flavors in the salmon itself.

Ingredients:

2 salmon fillets
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp grated fresh ginger

Method:

Preheat oven to 425F.
Mix the soy, honey and ginger; set aside.
Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a non-stick silicone-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes until opaque throughout.
Brush with the soy mixture, return to the oven another 5 minutes, basting once or twice.
Serve crispy skin-side up with some vegetables.
