Detox juices are not just for January. I think they should be a constant feature in our lives. What's not to like about mixes of fruits and vegetables producing vibrant natural colors and undiluted nutritional and vitamin boosts customized from the comfort of your kitchen? It's easy and it's fast. All you have to do is invest in a good juicer, which will eventually pay for itself. As for the juice combos, feel free to create your own as I did mine.
A good juicer produces more juice and less waste than a cheaper version, and it lasts a lot longer too. If you plan on juicing daily or at least thrice a week (I really think you should; not for weight loss but for overall good health), then you can see how a good quality juicer will pay off.
So these three juice mixes are great on their own, but I also recommend an added health bonus in the form of three powders stirred in. Probiotics optimize gastrointestinal health and combat bloating, indigestion, constipation, among others. Spirulina naturally contains all essential amino acids and an armful of vitamins. Wheatgrass is commonly added to juices, and for good reason, the most important of which is its anti-cancer properties. Please note that I am no doctor and you should consult a professional before deciding to include these supplements in your daily intake.
