MCW holds a fair collection of chocolate cakes that serve multiple intentions from the elaborate dinner-party-worthy to a quick homey cake; from dense and decadent to light and fluffy. Here is a chocolate cake compilation post worth archiving for future reference.
Starting off with my Black Beast torte which so happens to be flourless, yielding an all-the-more decadence with an acute chocolatiness, all accentuated much more so with the mascarpone frosting. Do not skip the fresh berries as this gives a much needed fresh balance against the dense decadent chocolate.
