1287. Hazelnut Iced Coffee


This cooling drink was my constant morning companion all summer long. The knowledge that nutella is addictive due to its hazelnut component more that its chocolate makes the appeal for hazelnut paste all the more prominent. Hazelnut coffee is not a novelty, but the simple replacement of the artificial flavoring for the real-deal paste is a game-changer.
Obviously, the concept of the below recipe can be applied almost universally. Sub the hazelnut paste for: pistachio paste, nutella, almond butter, chocolate ganache, cookie butter... Only the imagination is the limit.



Ingredients:

1 heaped tsp hazelnut paste
1 cup milk
ice cubes
2 tsp nescafe



Method:

Blend the milk and hazelnut paste.
Dissolve the nescafe in two tablespoons boiling water.
In a glass, pile in the ice. Pour over the hazelnut flavored milk. Top with the coffee concentrate.
Serve immediately.
