1711. Ranch Dip


The only time I would ever have ranch as a salad dressing, a dip, smeared in a sandwich, or drizzled over a pizza would be when dining out or ordering in. And you know what? I liked it. So it was high time to make it at home. 
While not the healthiest of condiments, making it at home at least gives you insight and control over the exact ingredients. Technically, you can make this and consume immediately, but I did find that an overnight stint in the refrigerator significantly enhances the development of flavors.


Ingredients:

1/4 cup kefir
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp salt & pepper


Method:

Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth. If too thick for your liking, thin out using extra kefir.
Uses: salad dressing, a dip, smeared in a sandwich, or drizzled over a pizza.
