Jam is not part of my daily consumption, nor weekly, barely even monthly. In fact, I almost exclusively use jam for baking nowadays. However, if jam were part of your daily, er, jam, this would be a highly recommended sway for your health.
Let's just get this out of the way: healthy no longer equates boring and tasteless, okay? I actually found this instant jam delicious in flavor and freshness. The chia seeds are what lend the jammy gumminess and thickness. If you need to sweeten it, go ahead with a dash of honey.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1 tsp chia seeds
Method:
Mash the raspberries and the chia seeds together.
Let stand a few minutes before spreading over toast of choice.
