Chips Oman is a popular chili potato chips here in the Arabian Gulf. Its second most popular consumption method after straight from the pack is crushed in a cheese paratha with some karak. This is a fun new way to consume the popular snack, crushed into a cheesy sambusak.
The type of hotsauce typical of this region is the same variety used in buffalo sauce; it gives a small tolerable kick that does not knock out your senses in large amounts, as tobasco might.
Ingredients:
200g grated cheddar
2 cups roughly crushed Chips Oman
1/4 cup hotsauce
sambusak leaves
oil, to fry
Method:
Combine the grated cheeses, crushed chips, and hot sauce.
Fill in sambusak leaves and seal with a dab of water.
Fry until golden and crispy, drain form excess oil, and serve hot.
