Baked sweet potato fries are healthy and gain an interested texture that combines crispy and chewy, especially when left unpeeled.
I tend to prefer them simply flavored with some salt and olive oil only. They do make for excellent flavor carriers, anything from spices to herbs to garlic.
Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes
salt
1 Tbsp olive oil
Wash and dry the potato really well. Cut the potato into fries finder sticks (I like to keep the skin on).
Sprinkle with the salt and oil and toss to coat.
Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing half way through.
Serve immediately as it will lose its crisp as it cools.
