Burrata is fresh mozzarella stretched into a small bag holding fresh mozzarella shred and fresh cream. A delicacy now commonly enjoyed over salad, a pizza, in a sandwich, or in this case, as a dip. In typical Italian flavors, simple is best and it is combined with rip fresh tomatoes and a generous drizzle of olive oil. Serve it with lightly fried sourdough bread cut into sticks, and it makes for an excellent appetizer or "girl dinner".
Ingredients:
1 burrata
10-15 cherry tomatoes
salt, pepper, olive oil
sourdough bread, to serve
Method:
Chop the tomato. Chop the Burrata. Combine in a bowl and drizzle generously with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Serve with lightly fried sourdough bread cut into sticks.
